Afro Hair and Identity
Project within the Erasmus+ grant scheme, where we partnered up with Ursel Biester from our German partner Trekstones, to do a summer school in Berlin targeted parents of children with African Heritage.
The peoples of Europe are universally perceived as white. However, an increasing number of Europeans are of different colors, and for too many of them, this means experiences of racism and a basic refusal to accept their equal identity as Europeans. This is of course completely unacceptable, and the reason why parents were the target group of this project. They needed to learn how to deal with the exclusion processes before they would happen. The project was a great success, with Erasmus+ rating it 94/100, alongside the formation of a community amongst the attending parents. International Families
Project within the Erasmus+ grant scheme, in collaboration with a number of smaller European companies, run by Trekstones.
The project consisted of making a number of podcasts and stories, to be published on air and as a book. The focus area was how it is to be an international family. As the integration of EU continues, more and more families will be multicultural and international. Learning from this, and benefiting from it, will be valuable for the communities across the Union. NExTWOK
Project created by the Rockwool Foundation with the aim of helping vulnerable youth into the job market through a combination of internships and network meetings, with an emphasis on horizontal learning.
Unemployment can for some become chronic, and lead to vicious cycles, where unemployment leads to meaninglessness which then leads to lack of initiative, which fortifies the status of unemployed. Anders was involved in the implementation of the project in the municipality of Favrskov, and is convinced the project could be put to use for other groups as well.
